Digital Specialists Microform Announced as National Sporting Heritage Day Gold Sponsor!
Sporting Heritage are delighted to announce that Wakefield based digital specialists, Microform, have become National Sporting Heritage Day 2023 Gold Sponsors!
With expertise across a range of digitisation, cataloguing and collections management specialisms, Microform have a huge track record of supporting sporting collections to preserve, protect and share the collections for future generations. The partnership will focus on National Sporting Heritage Day and continue until May 2024.
Sporting Heritage Director, Dr Justine Reilly said “This partnership is a huge step forward for Sporting Heritage and the organisations and individuals we represent. Microform can offer so much in terms of knowledge, skills and understanding to ensure sporting collections across the UK are supported with the digitisation and collections support they need. We are particularly delighted that the partnership will allow us to increase this year’s community grants programme and provide even more organisations with the support they need to remove their collections from risk!”.

The Sporting Heritage Community Grant programme is now open, and the deadline has been extended to the 7th July in order to allow plenty of time for new applicants who may wish to apply for a Microform digital support grant. To find out more visit:
